Welcome to

Illinois Kappa Chapter of Pi Beta Phi

In 1867, 12 courageous women founded Pi Beta Phi, enriching countless lives during collegiate years and beyond. Pi Beta Phi fosters meaningful relationships, a sense of belonging, mutual support and guidance. Our legacy of philanthropic service, innovative member programming, premier events and leadership development programs help our sisters become Friends and Leaders for Life.

At the University of Chicago, the Illinois Kappa Chapter of Pi Beta Phi is a dynamic and diverse sisterhood that fosters growth, leadership, and community. Our members come from a wide variety of academic backgrounds, united by a shared commitment to service, personal development, and lifelong friendship. We take pride in our philanthropic efforts, including our flagship fundraiser, Arrowfest, which raised over $10,000 in 2024 for the Read>Lead>Achieve initiative, supporting literacy and education. Together, we strive to make a positive impact both on campus and in the greater community, embodying the spirit of Pi Beta Phi’s core values.
