About Us

Each year, thousands of women become members of Pi Beta Phi, joining one of our more than 130 chapters across North America. Pi Phi's collegiate chapters are divided into nine regions––see where each chapter is located here.

As the Illinois Kappa Chapter of Pi Beta Phi at the University of Chicago, we are proud to carry forward this legacy of excellence, compassion, and leadership. In 2024, our flagship fundraiser, Arrowfest, raised over $10,000 for the Read>Lead>Achieve initiative, helping to provide books and literacy resources to children in need. This annual event is one of many ways our chapter makes a meaningful impact, bringing together the Greek community and the broader campus to support literacy and education.

Our chapter is made up of a diverse group of women with a wide range of passions and academic pursuits, from STEM to the humanities. We celebrate each other’s unique talents and perspectives, creating a vibrant community that encourages personal and professional growth. Whether we’re volunteering with local schools, participating in campus leadership, or simply enjoying time together, our sisterhood thrives on a spirit of inclusivity, support, and lifelong friendship.
