Danna Shen, Class of 2019

Chapter President

Danna is a third-year economics major from Philadelphia, which she thinks is the greatest city on earth. Prior to this year, she served as VP Event Planning, and Arrowfest is her favorite event throughout the year. She has so much appreciation for the women of IL Kappa, and she especially loves all the Matriarchy family traditions that have been a part of her life in college, including post Big/Little reveal dinner at the Promontory, family holiday gift exchange, and Memorial Day trip to Calumet Fisheries. 

Tara Hagerty, Class of 2020

Vice President of Member Development

Tara is a second year Economics major from Glenview, Illinois. On campus, she participates in ChoMUN and Maroon Veterans Alliance, and also works at the bubble tea shop, Te'Amo! Her favorite parts about Pi Phi are the fun sisterhoods that allow her to meet new sisters. In her free time, she loves to play music.  

Emily Morrison, Class of 2019

Vice President of Fraternity Development

Emily is a third-year Political Science major and Human Rights minor from Allendale, NJ. Emily works as a barista in a student-run cafe and serves as the Editor-In-Chief of the UChicago chapter of the Odyssey Online. Her favorite thing about being in Pi Phi is that she is constantly inspired by the talents and interests of her sisters. In her free time, she likes to write!

Roz Joyce, Class of 2020

Vice President of Finance

Roz is a second year economics major and visual arts minor. For Pi Phi, she oversees the creation of the budget, chapter taxes, and daily finances. Outside of Pi Phi, Roz dances with RBIM and is involved with her house. Roz loves to bake and sing in the shower, and is so thankful that being in Pi Phi has been such an incredible and rewarding experience that has given her best friends, roommates, sisters, and a home away from home.

Jihana Mendu, Class of 2020

Vice President of Membership

Jihana is a second year Biology and Cinema and Media Studies double major from Palos Verdes, California. She enjoys puppies, sleeping, and eating. Her favorite food is french fries, and she will talk to you about In n Out anytime. She loves all her sisters in Pi Phi and is so thankful to have their love and support.

Melanie Wang, Class of 2020

Vice President of Communications

Melanie is a second-year English and Economics double major from West Hartford, CT. On campus, she writes for many magazines and serves on the board of the culinary magazine, Bite. Her favorite part about being in Pi Phi is the new family that she’s found in her home away from home. In her free time, she loves to follow the NHL or explore the Chicago food scene!

Emma Hecker, Class of 2019

Vice President of Administration

Emma is a third year Political Science major from Columbus, Ohio. She enjoys cooking, running, and spending quality time with her sisters. While she knows that the midwest is often considered a “wasteland,” she will still enthusiastically try talk to you about how great Ohio is.

Kelsey Berryman, Class of 2020

Vice President of Philanthropy

Kelsey is a second year Public Policy major with a specialization in Education Policy from Tucson, Arizona. On campus, she is direct service fellow for the Milgrom Education Impact Fellowship and a UChicago Promise Intern for the office of admissions. She enjoys puns and puppies and making her sisters laugh.

Katherine Clement, Class of 2020

Vice President of Event Planning

Katherine is a second-year Economics and Sociology double major from Dallas, TX. On campus, she is a member of The Blue Chips, UChicago’s premier investment club. Her favorite part about being in Pi Phi is the larger extended network of women that she has found wherever she goes. In her free time, she loves to teach yoga, run on the Lake, and go to SoulCycle!
